Warehouse Management Systems:
Working with the major breweries, Warehouse Management Systems, Inc. (WMSI) is developing an Advance Ship Notice (ASN) interface between the brewery and the distributor to allow the receiving of product by scanning the brewery pallet label. This will increase the receiving operators performance as well as update the Route Accounting System (RAS) in real-time. Using the logic defined in the Locator System, the Putaway module routes an operator to put an item or pallet into a specific back stock location or directly into the pick face.
