Warehouse Slotting Optimization.

The Wizard™ Locator System, determines the best location for every product in your facility by organizing your facility to decrease bottlenecks and product damage.  WSO adjusts slotting criteria as products, locations and demand change.  WSO maintains peak productivity of your pick line and integrates with Wizard’s™ Labor Management for optimal operator performance.

Managing Your Inventory at the Date Code Level.

Inventory rotation is the key to a successful beverage distribution operation.  WMSI has developed the Wizard™ Date Code Translator™ to automatically manage your inventory at its date code criterion.  This includes:  date code translation for beer packages, vintage, best used by dates, fill dates, and receive dates.  These criterion are used by Wizard™ to insure inventory is rotated, picked and shipped preventing any out-of-code inventory. 

Improved In-Bound Processing.

The Wizard™ Receiving module provides the ability to track, verify, and update the RAS (route accounting system) for all incoming items in real time eliminating all data entry requirements.  Advanced features include Wizard’s™ ability to receive inventory from the major Breweries using an Advance Ship Notice (ASN) interface.  Using the logic defined in the Locator System, the Putaway module routes an operator to put an item or pallet into a specific back stock location or directly into the pick face. 

Automated Management of the Order Fulfillment Process.

Comprised of two integrated modules – Replenishment and Picking – Wizard™ manages the process of maintaining inventory requirements in the pick face (pallet, case or bottle) as well as optimizing the performance of each picker as Wizard™ maps them through the pick line.  Advanced features include: pick-by-voice, multiple pallet picking, layer picking, full pallet picking, pick-by-STOP, pick-by-ROUTE and / or pick-by-AGGREGATE.

Automated Out-Bound Checking Process.

Through its QC-by-Weight module, WMSI has automated the out-bound pallet checking process by weighing the completed case picked pallet and comparing its actual weight with the picked pallet weight.  This innovative approach has significantly improved out-bound case pallet accuracy of all orders shipped with a corresponding reduction of order checking manpower.  Advanced features include: automated high speed wrappers with in-line scale capabilities or forklift mounted scales. 

Optimizing your labor force will add dollars to your bottom line.

WMSI has developed an integrated real-time labor tracking module which tracks each operators performance regardless of task assigned in the warehouse.  Using this information, management has the ability to build task metrics to monitor employee performance.  Wizard™ automatically calculates actual task durations and provides reporting on employee performance, Using this information, management is able to develop an Employee Incentive Program for increased efficiency and productivity throughout the warehouse.
